3rd Meeting of the Regional Stakeholder’s Group of the European project UrbCitizenPower

The Regional Development Fund of Central Macedonia invited us on Tuesday, July 8, to the 3rd Meeting of the Regional Stakeholder's Group of the European project UrbCitizenPower, where we were represented.

by the treasurer of the club, Mrs. Gidarakou Maria.

The project “UrbCitizenPower” (Empower citizens for agency as driver for change in cities) is co-financed by the INTERREG EUROPE 2021-2027 Programme and aims to empower citizens to take action on current and important social issues. The Regional Development Fund of Central Macedonia is one of the project partners, while the Region of Central Macedonia participates as a Collaborating Policy-Making Authority.

The meeting presented good practices from the local environment, as well as relevant synergies. An open discussion followed with the aim of recording the needs of the stakeholders involved and identifying opportunities at the regional level and proposals from the participants for strengthening the role of citizens and state-citizen synergy.
