The PHALA association
The Panhellenic Association of Landscape Architects (PHALA) is a professional association established in 1980. PHALA supports the development and promotion of the Landscape Architecture profession as well as its protection and establishment in Greece. PHALA promotes landscape education and public awareness of the profession's nature.


PHALA's diverse activities include the organisation of international conferences and symposiums in Athens together with its regular participation in exhibitions and discourses all over Greece.

PHALA represents Greece globally as a member of the International Federation of Landscape Architects (IFLA) and the European Foundation of Landscape Architecture (EFLA).

PHALA's future plans and visions include:
the increase of its members number;
the promotion and establishment of the Landscape Architect`s professional rights
in Greece;
its involvement in strategic positions in public and private projects;
the expansion of partnership with other disciplines;
the increase of public awareness of the profession's nature;
the support and guidance to its members.
